What is Bitget Pre-Market Mapping?
Bitget Pre-Market Mapping is an innovative feature built on top of pre-market trading, designed to give users the earliest opportunity to trade popular tokens. Pre-Market Mapping allows users to discover prices and participate earlier, enabling them to assess the potential impact of external factors on the market. This helps users analyze price fluctuations outside of regular trading hours, providing insights into future market trends and momentum for the upcoming official trading sessions.
What is Pre-Market Mapping?
The concept of Pre-Market Mapping is simple. It follows the principle that the total value of the tokens remains unchanged.
First, the estimated total supply of a project’s tokens is determined. Once the project team announces tokenomics and confirms the total supply, Pre-Market Mapping will automatically convert the pre-market tokens proportionally. During this process, users don't need to do anything—Bitget's system will handle the conversion.
Let’s take a recent token in Bitget’s pre-market trading as an example (Note: Pre-Market Mapping projects have a cylindrical icon next to their name, so be sure to identify them correctly):
1. Open the Bitget app, click on "More" in the top right corner, and click on "Pre-Market".
2. Before the DOGS project announced its total token supply, Bitget already listed DOGS POINTS for pre-market trading. This pre-market trading token was issued with a total supply of 100 billion. Once the DOGS project officially announces its total token supply, the platform will map your order’s price and quantity proportionally, based on the 100 billion supply and the actual issued supply. The total order amount remains unchanged. You can then check your mapped orders in DOGS' pre-market trading and prepare for settlement.
3. The DOGS project team confirms that the total token supply is 550 billion. Therefore, the mapping ratio is 1:5.5, and the system will map all users' pre-market orders in DOGS POINTS to DOGS in the upcoming pre-market trading at a 1:5.5 ratio. It's important to note that the total order amount and security deposit remain unchanged.
How are DOGS POINTS mapped after the TGE of DOGS?
For example, User A sells 5000 DOGS POINTS at 0.44 USDT. The order has been filled with a total value of 2200 USDT, and a security deposit of 2200 USDT has been frozen.
Later, the DOGS project team announces that the total token supply is 550 billion, resulting in a mapping ratio of 1:5.5 between DOGS POINTS and DOGS.
At this point, the order amount and security deposit remain the same at 2,200 USDT. However, the number of tokens to be delivered will increase to 5,000 * 5.5 = 27,500 DOGS, and the order price will adjust to 0.44 / 5.5 = 0.08 USDT. Users can view the original order under "Orders History" in DOGS POINTS (DOGSPOINTS) pre-market trading, and the mapped order in "Orders History" under DOGS (DOGS) pre-market trading.
Important Note:
User A (the seller) must ensure they have an available balance of at least 27,500 DOGS in their spot account before the DOGS (DOGS) pre-market delivery. Otherwise, the delivery will fail.
