Bitget releases Modify for spot and futures orders

2023-03-07 09:54040
Bitgetters,
Bitget officially releases the Modify order function, where users can change open order prices and amounts.
Modify, found as a button on the top-right corner of your order details, essentially lets you cancel your existing order and open another order in just one step. For this release, Modify is available to limit orders in spot, futures and with leverage.
Once a user confirms the change on the order, the system will delete their previous order and then open another order accordingly.
Spot: The amount modified is dependent on the user's assets.
Leverage: Affected by the mode used (default, Auto-Borrow, Auto-Repay) when the order is created. For example, if Auto-Borrow is selected when opening the order, the number of modified orders will be limited by the available assets after borrowing.
Futures: The modified amount is dependent on the user's maximum open position.
When changing a limit order, the following situations might occur:
Scenario 1: The number of original orders is five but the user wants to change it to just four. The Modify function will delete the previous five orders, and then open four orders.
Scenario 2: During extreme m arket fluctuations, the user wants to make the same change as above but, of the original five orders, three are filled and so, the number of newly opened orders is one rather than four.
Scenario 3: During extreme market fluctuations, the user wants to make the same change as the first scenario but instead, four orders have been filled. In this case, there will be no new orders opened.
