Dutch bank ABN AMRO has acquired BUX, a neo-broker based in Amsterdam, for an undisclosed amount. The deal is expected to be finalised in 2024, subject to regulatory approval, and is estimated to have a minor impact on ABN AMRO's CET1 capital ratio. The acquisition is part of ABN AMRO's strategy to strengthen its presence in the retail investment space and improve its digital offering.
