Bitget announced at the Davos Conference that it will invest 10 million dollars in supporting women's welfare projects

Yesterday, during the 2024 World Economic Forum, Bitget launched the Blockchain4Her initiative at the Davos Web3 Hub event hosted by CV Labs. This program aims to promote gender diversity and inclusivity in the blockchain industry. Bitget has pledged to invest $10 million to support women's public welfare projects. These projects include a female entrepreneur incubation plan, venture capital competitions, a blockchain women's summit, award ceremonies, and an ambassador program.

At the conference, Bitget had in-depth discussions with several female experts and entrepreneurs from different fields on how to promote gender equality in the Web3 industry, harnessing women's power to boost development of cryptocurrency industry. Kristina Lucrezia Cornèr, Editor-in-Chief of Cointelegraph said: "In the cryptocurrency industry we need to push for diversity and inclusiveness just like Messi does - creating more 'Messis' within every community."

Thy-Diep (Yip) Ta , founder of SystAln3r pointed out that women are not only consumers but also participants and creators who are actively shaping our future industries. Therefore it is crucially important to assist founders from diverse backgrounds especially females.Thanks to CV Labs and Bitget we were able share our experiences and challenges at this significant meeting.
