Transak partners with Visa to launch cryptocurrency exchange for fiat in 145 countries
Cryptocurrency and NFT payment infrastructure provider Transak has announced a partnership with Visa. The collaboration aims to allow users in 145 countries/regions to convert their cryptocurrency holdings into local fiat currency using the Visa Direct platform, and spend it at over 130 million merchant locations where Visa is accepted. Visa Direct's conversion service is said to be a significant improvement over traditional banking services, as it can be completed in less than 30 minutes, compared to several days.
