Octopus Network officially released the Lightpaper of its full-chain cross-chain protocol, Omnity, which supports cross-chain interoperability of Bitcoin native inscriptions, runes, as well as Ethereum, Layer2, and application chains, and is planned to be released in April 2024. Omnity is completely implemented by on-chain smart contracts, without relying on any off-chain processes, relayers, or indexers, and is a truly 100% decentralized cross-chain network. It has a fast, low-cost, and good user experience, making it the most ideal cross-chain infrastructure for modular worlds. Omnity and NEAR Restaking built by Octopus Network have achieved perfect cross-chain capabilities and more flexible and secure sharing security protocols, aiming to build a one-stop infrastructure service for Web3 applications.
