WhaleFin has submitted a virtual asset trading platform license application to the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. The application information shows that the operator of the virtual asset trading platform submitted by WhaleFin is named "Whalefin markets Limited", with the Chinese name displayed as "not applicable". The application was submitted on February 20, 2024. As of now, the number of applicants for virtual asset trading platform licenses announced by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has reached 19, and the license applications of three other institutions have been returned or withdrawn.
