CME Fed Watch data shows that the probability of the Fed maintaining interest rates in the range of 5.25%-5.50% in March is 97.5%, and the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 2.5%. The probability of maintaining interest rates unchanged in May is 78.4%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut is 21.1%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut is 0.5%.
