Mantle EcoFund’s second US$30 million capital call proposal passed with 100% approval rate
On March 4th, according to the Snapshot page, Mantle EcoFund, an ecological investment fund of Mantle, proposed the second capital call and governance process update proposal (MIP-29), which has been approved by the community vote with a support rate of 100%. According to the proposal, the second capital call will be made for an amount of 30 million US dollars (priced in USDC), which will be allocated from the Mantle Treasury. The proposal also suggests expanding the investment scope of Mantle EcoFund, including selective investment in accelerators, incubators, startup studios, and funds to promote the growth of high-quality and innovative early-stage projects within the Mantle ecosystem. It is reported that the proposal was jointly proposed by Mirana Ventures and the Mantle core contributors team, aiming to review the first investment of 10 million US dollars under the authorization of MIP-24, update the situation of the 100 million US dollar Mantle EcoFund, and propose changes to the existing governance process and expansion of investment authorization scope.
