EigenLayer launches its retest protocol and EigenDA data availability solution on Holesky testnet
After the Goerli testnet was discontinued, EigenLayer released its retest protocol and EigenDA data availability solution on the Holesky testnet. Now, users can conduct retests on the Holesky testnet, and operators can integrate with EigenLayer's infrastructure on the Holesky testnet. The Rollup sequencer and full node can now interact with EigenDA on Holesky, publishing, retrieving, and verifying data blobs.
This release also introduces the Dual Quorum feature, which enhances the security of the equity proof network by using two quorums. Dual Quorum reduces volatility risk and simplifies the network launch process. Initially, WETH can be used as a secondary betting asset, and native tokens for AVS and rollups are planned to be supported.
EigenLayer is currently in the second stage of three launch stages and is expected to complete the full launch of the mainnet in the second quarter.
