Bithumb Annual Report: Revenue in 2023 is 135.8 billion won, a 58% decrease from the previous year
According to a business report released by Bithumb Korea on the 1st, the annual revenue of Bithumb in 2023 is 135.8 billion won, a 58% decrease from the previous year. The operating loss was 14.9 billion won, resulting in a loss. Net profit was 24.3 billion won, a 75% decrease from the previous year, but the company has achieved profitability for the fourth consecutive year. Bithumb attributed the decline in revenue last year to the deterioration of the cryptocurrency market, which led to a decrease in transaction fee income. The company's free transaction fee policy implemented in the fourth quarter of last year was also one of the reasons for the revenue decline.
