SlowMist monthly security incident report in March: 33 security incidents caused approximately US$139 million in losses
SlowMist security team released the Web3 security event monthly report for March. There were a total of 33 security incidents this month, causing approximately $139 million in losses. Among them, 4 projects (Munchables, Super Sushi Samurai, Dolomite, and Unizen) successfully recovered about $68.46 million of stolen funds. 3 incidents of internal malfeasance resulted in losses of $65.4 million, accounting for 46.9% of the total stolen amount. SlowMist security team recommends that project parties strengthen internal security measures and access controls for sensitive information. 8 contract vulnerability exploitation incidents resulted in approximately $36.89 million in losses. Project parties are advised to remain vigilant, conduct regular security audits, and maximize the security of projects and assets.
