Argentina has begun implementing cryptocurrency company registration requirements
According to Cointelegraph, Argentina has begun implementing the requirement for cryptocurrency trading platforms to operate legally in the country.The National Securities Commission (CNV) stated that virtual asset service providers will operate according to the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). As part of Argentina's anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT) legal reforms, certain companies providing cryptocurrency-related services must be registered with the Argentine government.CNV Chairman Roberto Silva stated that unregistered virtual asset service providers "will not be able to operate in the country".
