Friend.tech: A new registration process will be launched next week, which will no longer restrict accounts from linking to X platforms
The Web3 social network protocol friend.tech announced on X platform that starting next week, linking X (formerly Twitter) platform to FriendsTech accounts will become optional. New users will also be able to choose any unclaimed username when registering. If you want to purchase the key to Twitter friends, you need to check the Twitter username displayed separately on your profile. Friend.tech stated that there are two main reasons for this update:
1. The friend.tech V2 version will be open to audiences outside of Twitter;
2. If existing users want to receive their on-chain points on a new account, the optional linking option allows existing users to link their Twitter to a new account before the V2 version is released.
It is reported that after the new registration process is released next week, friend.tech will further explain through X platform and its applications.
