According to Cointelegraph, Norway has passed new legislation related to data centers, indicating that Bitcoin mining companies may face increased scrutiny. It is reported that the new legislation will require all data centers in the country to be formally registered, including information about the owners and leaders of these centers and the types of digital services they provide. Norway will become the first European country to establish such a framework.
