Illuvium Launches $25 Million ILV Token Airdrop

Web3 metaverse game Illuvium has announced the launch of a token airdrop campaign. The total number of ILV tokens for this airdrop season is 250,000, with a value of approximately $25 million. Among them, 50,000 tokens will be used to reward loyal users of the Illuvium ecosystem, and the remaining 200,000 tokens will be distributed in a six-month "play-to-airdrop" campaign.

The loyalty airdrop will reward users who have participated in the Illuvium ecosystem over the past three years, including staking ILV tokens, providing LP liquidity, purchasing virtual land, trading NFTs, etc., and will be distributed in Q2 2024. Illuvium took a snapshot on April 14, 2024, at 23:59 UTC.

The "play-to-airdrop" campaign requires users to participate and interact as much as possible in Illuvium's four games, including arena battles, virtual world exploration, land development, NFT collection and trading, etc. The number of ILV tokens airdropped is determined by activity points earned in the campaign.

The first batch of 20,000 ILV tokens will be distributed during the beta testing phase starting at the end of April, and the game will enter public testing at the end of May, with 180,000 ILV tokens to be airdropped gradually over five months after the official launch.
