BAYC floor price fell 90% from its peak, which may be related to the weakening interest of retail investors and the rise of other on-chain NFTs
The floor price of BAYC was slightly higher than 10 ETH, a 90% drop compared to the peak of over 120 ETH in May 2022. The drop is roughly the same when calculated in USD. According to Blur data, the floor price of BAYC is currently reported as 11.055 ETH, with a daily increase of 8.6% and a 7-day drop of 10.27%. CryptoSlam data shows that since 2022, BAYC's daily trading volume has remained around $1 million, with 20% of collections held by 10 individual wallets. According to Google search data, retail investors' interest in Ethereum NFTs has generally decreased. At the same time, Bitcoin and Solana blockchain NFTs are starting to attract more investor attention.
