Telegram's TONcoin Payments and Open League Program Boost Token Adoption
According to Justin Hyun, director of investments at TON Foundation, Telegram's shift towards toncoin payments for advertising and the Open League reward program have contributed to the token's recent surge in adoption. TON has gained 15% this month, outperforming the broader crypto market. The Open League program, which rewards user participation in developing the ecosystem, aims to bring millions of Telegram users on-chain and establish TON as the home for consumer product markets. Hyun believes that TON is the only hope for mass adoption of Web3 technologies and will do for Web3 tech what the Apple Mac did for personal computing.
