CertiK: 224 security incidents occurred in Q1, of which 47 incidents involved hackers sending $220 million directly to CEX
CertiK Alert posted on social media platform stating that out of the 224 incidents recorded in the first quarter of 2024, the most common method used by hackers to launder stolen funds is still through Tornado.Cash, but the amount laundered through this method is only $69 million. Reportedly, in 47 of these incidents, funds were directly sent to trading platforms (without using other laundering methods listed), amounting to $220 million, some of which has already been frozen.
