Switzerland plans to launch a referendum to include Bitcoin in national asset reserves
According to Cryptoslate, Yves Bennaïm, a Bitcoin advocate from Switzerland and founder/chairman of the non-profit think tank 2B4CH, has launched a referendum urging the Swiss National Bank (SNB) to include Bitcoin in the country's asset reserves. The start of this referendum depends on whether 100,000 Swiss citizens can provide valid signatures. If the required number is reached, Swiss nationals will vote on the proposed amendment.
