Cosmos developers patch critical vulnerability in IBC protocol
Cosmos developers have successfully fixed a critical security vulnerability in their Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol that could have endangered assets worth at least $126 million. The vulnerability has been present since the protocol's launch in 2021 and recently became exploitable due to the introduction of new code libraries. However, no funds were lost during the process of fixing the vulnerability, ensuring that no malicious exploitation occurred.
