Klaytn merged with Finschia and changed its name to kaia. It plans to complete the chain integration and launch the mainnet at the end of June.
After the merger of Klaytn and Finschia mainnets, it will be renamed as kaia and come with a new native token KAIA, whose symbol will be a stylized "&", symbolizing the focus of Klaytn and Finschia on partners and communities, in order to bring together others (builders, enterprises, users, traders, etc.). Kaia plans to complete the chain integration and launch the mainnet by the end of June.It is reported that Klaytn and Finschia, a public chain project under Line, proposed the KGP-25 proposal at the end of January this year, aiming to create the largest Web3 ecosystem in Asia through the merger. The proposal was passed by vote on February 15.
