Indonesian presidential election results could be good for cryptocurrencies, observers say
The Indonesian presidential election in February initially ended in controversy, with the two winners announcing their victory before the official results were released. According to statistics, immediately after the end of the voting, former Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and the current president's son, Gibran Rakabuming, received 60% of the national vote. These results mean that the ruling party will continue to hold power. Although members of the cryptocurrency industry are cautious about favoring either side, they believe that the election results suggest that the country's blockchain strategy may remain unchanged or may develop in a positive direction.
