Boosting Creator Growth on the Superchain

TL;DR In the month of May, Boost will be distributing 100K OP to creators who drive the most volume to Superchain via Boost. Rewards will be distributed weekly to the top creators who drive the most quality mint volume. Read on for more details on how it works.

Earlier this year, we launched Boost Inbox , a simple-to-use platform for collectors to mint and earn crypto rewards from creators looking to promote their work onchain. Using Boost Protocol, anyone can mint NFTs across platforms like Zora, Sound, and Mirror and use Boost to drive additional onchain distribution.

Through Boost, we are proud to have helped onchain creators like Coop Records successfully distribute their work and create a sustainable revenue stream. To continue supporting creators, we are introducing the Boost Creator Fund that will distribute OP to creators driving mints through Boost.

How the Boost Creator Fund Works

Starting May 4th, Boost will be distributing 100K OP to boost creators who use Boost to drive mints on Zora, Sound, and Mirror on the Superchain (Base, OP Mainnet, Mode, Zora). Over the course of four weeks, 10-40K OP will be distributed to creators based on the percentage of mint volume they drove that week with additional multipliers for the following metrics:

1. Number of unique wallets that completed a boosted mint

2. Number of new users that completed a boosted mint on Superchain

3. Number of wallets that completed a boost mint with Farcaster power badge

At the end of each week, the scoring system for multipliers will be revealed along with a leaderboard in a Dune dashboard. Creators will see their rank and allocated amount of OP (along with instructions on how to claim it). The schedule is as follows:

Week 1: May 4 1:00 UTC - May 11 0:00 UTC - 10K OP

Week 2: May 11 1:00 UTC - May 18 0:00 UTC - 20K OP

Week 3: May 18 1:00 UTC - May 25 0:00 UTC - 30K OP

Week 4: May 25 1:00 UTC - June 1 0:00 UTC - 40K OP

Our goal with the Boost Creator Fund is to reward creators stimulating the Superchain economy. Using Boost, onchain creators now have an easy way to grow their audience and revenue by driving distribution through the Boost network, similar to traditional advertising tools. By fueling the growth of creators, we believe that this will support the overall growth and liveliness of the Superchain.
