Hong Kong Monetary Authority: The Shenzhen-Hong Kong cross-border data verification platform based on blockchain has been launched for trial
The cross-border data verification platform between Shenzhen and Hong Kong has been launched for trial operation. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority welcomed the platform, which uses Blockchain technology and data codes (i.e. hash values) for file verification. It does not involve cross-border transmission and storage of the original data files, and achieves trusted verification of data users carrying their own information. It is reported that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Shenzhen Municipal Internet Information Office, the Shenzhen Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, the Shenzhen Local Financial Management Bureau, the Shenzhen Qianhai Management Bureau, the People's Bank of China Shenzhen Branch, and the Shenzhen Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Supervision and Administration jointly coordinated and promoted the construction and testing of the cross-border data verification platform between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. In the first phase, it will be launched in the cross-border financial field, covering scenarios such as credit report and enterprise customer account opening information file verification.
