Blockchain data and analytics firm Chainalysis opens regional headquarters in Dubai
Blockchain data and analysis company Chainalysis announced the opening of its Southern Europe, Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa headquarters in Dubai. According to the announcement, the analysis company has been "actively engaging" with local government stakeholders to provide advice on promoting innovative cryptocurrency industry regulatory development practices. The regional headquarters will enable the company to support emerging markets such as India, Africa, and Central Asia. Nicola Buonanno, Vice President of Chainalysis for Europe, the Middle East, and Southern Africa, said that the UAE market is at a "critical point" and that institutional-scale transfers currently account for the "vast majority" of the country's cryptocurrency activity.
