Bitcoin Investor Offers Half a Million Dollar Reward for Return of Stolen Casascius Coins
An early Bitcoin investor known as Otoh recently auctioned over 200 physical Bitcoins, also known as Casascius coins, in Heritage auction firm's first crypto sale. Otoh is offering a $500,000 reward for the return of 55 Bitcoins that were stolen from him a decade ago, which are now worth about $3.5 million. In an interview, another Bitcoin investor shared their positive and negative experiences with Bitcoin, including losing some to theft and selling off their physical cryptocurrency collection after a decade of accumulation. They believe in a mixture of investing in both Bitcoin and physical property.
