Politico: House Democratic leaders say they won't oppose House Republican encryption bill
Eleanor Mueller, a journalist for Politico, stated on social media that as far as I know, Democratic leaders in the House of Representatives said today that they will not oppose the Republican encryption bill in the House.
The whip question sent to members this morning stated that Waters and Scott "strongly oppose" the legislation, but did not urge them to vote "no."
