Bitget Appoints Gracy Chen as CEO
Bitget appoints Gracy Chen as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May of this year. Former CEO Sandra Lou will leave the company to focus on personal endeavors. Gracy has over 10 years of management, marketing, and investment experience. She joined Bitget as Managing Director in 2022. During her tenure, she and her management team led Bitget in advancing its global strategy, signing celebrities such as Messi, building an international alliance network, and increasing Bitget's user base fourfold. The total trading volume and comprehensive strength have entered the top five in the world. Gracy actively promotes the combination of Blockchain and public welfare, leading Bitget to launch the #Blockchain4Youth action to encourage young talent to embrace blockchain technology, as well as the #Blockchain4Her public welfare action to support female entrepreneurs and practitioners. Gracy is also a columnist for well-known media outlets such as Forbes and Cointelegraph. In addition, she was invited to join Killer Whales, the first encrypted TV reality show produced by a Hollywood team, as a judge to find potential Web3 startups. Gracy holds a bachelor's degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and an MBA degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
