Former President of Gala Games: GALA Attacker Appears to Have Returned Stolen Ether
PANews reported on May 21 that Jason Brink, former president and current advisor of blockchain game Gala Games, tweeted that although the specific address could not be confirmed, it appears that the $GALA attacker has returned the Ether they obtained through the hack. On-chain data shows that the hacker address 0xe2...0F97 transferred 5913 ETH to the address 0xEC...9b4e at 20:43, which is the address with GALA contract management permissions that was compromised by the GALA attack.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Gala Games attacker had sold 592 million GALA for 5952 ETH, approximately $21.8 million.
