SEC Chairman Gensler stated that cryptocurrency exchanges have "significant conflicts of interest" and that the cryptocurrency market needs "on-field referees." The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has performed well in court in cryptocurrency cases. The SEC has legal tools regarding cryptocurrency but needs more resources.
