Victory Securities: We are optimistic about the future relaxation of the mainland's policy to allow retail investors to buy and sell virtual products
\Chen Peiquan, Executive Director of Victory Securities, stated that currently, the issuers of virtual currency ETFs are mainly Chinese-funded funds, which sends a signal to the outside world. Although he does not speculate on mainland policies, he is optimistic that the mainland will relax and even allow individual investors to trade virtual products through the Hong Kong Stock Connect in the future. This may be a development need in the mainland, and Hong Kong can serve as a testing ground, which is also one of Hong Kong's traditional advantages. He believes that the development of virtual assets is an example of Hong Kong's use of the "One Country, Two Systems" advantage, which can provide products that other markets do not have. In addition to expanding the trading space of the industry, it can also strengthen Hong Kong's position as an international financial center.
