The surge is likely due to excitement about the upcoming UEFA Euro football championship, which will be held from June 14 to July 14. However, a recent study suggests that sports tokens are vulnerable to pre-event optimism and subsequent price declines. The CHZ token experienced a similar pattern before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, doubling in value before dropping by 60% shortly after the event.
