Grab to stop e-wallet service in Vietnam from July 1
Southeast Asia's multi-functional online service platform Grab announced today that it will stop providing electronic wallet services in Vietnam. This service was launched in partnership with local payment company Moca in 2018. This change will affect both the Moca application and Grab's application in Vietnam starting from July 1. The partnership included Moca providing payment intermediary services for all of Grab's businesses in Vietnam. Users will receive a refund of their remaining balance. In addition, Grab users can still use bank cards, ZaloPay accounts, and MoMo accounts for cashless payments.
