Argentina officially launches virtual asset service provider registration system
The Argentine Securities Regulatory Agency (CNV) has officially launched the Argentine Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registration center, allowing nearly 100 companies and individuals to apply for authorization to provide digital asset-related services in the country. As the regulatory agency only allows registered entities to operate legally within the Argentine jurisdiction, the registration center will continue to be open for more companies to submit applications. CNV has already authorized 35 different companies, including four foreign exchanges in the first batch.
