After shifting his focus to altcoins a month ago, crypto expert Michael van de Pope decided to revamp his portfolio by replacing underperforming cryptocurrencies with potentially more profitable alternatives.
Discussing his strategy in a recent YouTube video, van de Pope acknowledged that some altcoins have struggled since the approval of the SEC for Spot Bitcoin ETFs. However, he identified opportunities for significant gains in the market.
Among the cryptocurrencies removed from his portfolio were Cosmos (ATOM) and Curve (CRV).
Despite acknowledging their strong fundamentals, van de Pope noted their weak performance, with ATOM undergoing a correction of nearly 50% and CRV volatile against Bitcoin и Polygon (MATIC ).
