Zimbabwe Seeks Comments from Crypto Industry to Establish Policy
Zimbabwe is seeking input from the cryptocurrency industry to better understand the sector and establish policies. The government has set up a committee to consult with digital asset operators and is inviting all cryptocurrency service providers, whether operating inside or outside the country, to provide comments. The deadline for comments is June 26. Zimbabwe is following in the footsteps of other countries, such as South Africa and Nigeria, that have been working to regulate the nascent sector.
