Exclusive: Unstoppable Domains Embraces AI for Personalized Avatars, COO Sandy Carter Says
Unstoppable Domains is not just focusing on blockchain, but also integrating artificial intelligence to enhance user experience.
“We use AI to create personalized avatars for our users,” Sandy Carter, COO of Unstoppable Domains, said in an exclusive interview with Cryptonews at Consensus 2024.
“Users can submit a picture or description, and our AI will generate an avatar that embodies their personal brand. This is just one of the many ways we are using AI to improve our services.”
The company also utilizes AI for internal processes, such as customer support and marketing.
“AI helps us provide quick and accurate responses to customer inquiries and creates targeted marketing campaigns,” Carter said. “We’re both a provider and a user of AI, ensuring we stay at the forefront of technological innovation.”
Unstoppable Domains Pioneering Digital Identity
Unstoppable Domains is pioneering the field of digital identity, enabling users to own their data through blockchain technology.
Carter explained, “Our digital identity system is based on blockchain, specifically Polygon. This allows users to have a unique digital identity that represents who they are, which they can own and control.”
One of the platform’s primary use cases is simplifying cryptocurrency transactions.
“Instead of typing a long, complicated wallet address, you can use a simple domain like sandy.crypto or sandy.nft,” Carter said. “We process 30 million transactions a week just in resolving these addresses.”
The platform also offers encrypted group chat capabilities, which have become highly valued in the web3 community.
The company’s commitment to user-friendly solutions extends to branded domains.
Recently, Unstoppable Domains launched city-specific domains like .austin, which can be used for various purposes, including tokenizing personal documents and memberships.
“You can go online, purchase a domain like rachel.austin, and use it for all sorts of applications, including social media and crypto transactions,” Carter explained.
Moreover, Unstoppable Domains’ efforts to include more women in the tech industry are noteworthy.
Carter has been hosting women-focused events at various conferences, including a recent brunch at Consensus 2024.
“The goal is to get women together in real life to form meaningful connections,” Carter said. “Only 8% of the population in crypto are women, so it’s crucial to create inclusive environments where everyone feels welcome.”
These events have garnered significant support from the industry. “We had 10 sponsors for our latest event, which shows the commitment of many companies to encourage diversity,” Carter said.
Notably, the inclusion of male allies in these panels has sparked positive changes. “After one of our events, a male participant decided to start a special fund for female founders, which was a fantastic outcome.”
Digital Identities to Play Key Role in Future
Looking to the future, Carter envisions digital identities playing a crucial role in various sectors, including healthcare.
“Imagine if your healthcare data was stored securely on the blockchain, accessible only with your digital identity,” she said. “This could prevent misdiagnoses and ensure timely access to critical medical information.”
Carter also shared her positive experiences at Consensus 2024, highlighting the event’s unique and differentiated approach.
“The sessions were deep and informative, covering new regulations and gaming developments,” she said. “I’ve had amazing partner meetings that will lead to exciting new partnership announcements soon.”
