OpenTensor Foundation: Officials will not ask users to provide information such as seed phrases, beware of such scams
The OpenTensor Foundation stated in a post that the OTF team is working hard to ensure the security of TAO funds at risk before restoring the normal operation of the Bittensor chain. At the same time, anyone claiming to be able to retrieve TAO funds at risk from users other than the OTF team should be regarded as a fraudster.
Please be clear: the official will never ask users to provide mnemonics or seed phrases, nor will they ask users to provide any personal information. There is no such thing as DAO, airdrop, voting, and other plans unless users see official accounts posting such information.
The Foundation encourages users to report such activities in various community channels so that others can understand and be aware of these fraudulent behaviors.
