EOS Network Introduces 250 Million EOS Staking Rewards Program
A 250 million EOS staking rewards program has been introduced by EOS Network today, July 8, as a part of their revised tokenomics strategy.
As per the updated staking rewards schedule, a daily distribution of 85.6K EOS is given to Stakers. Early stakers in the revised EOS staking program may earn an initial APY of more than 60% as a reward. Every year, more than 31 million EOS tokens are distributed to stakers.
There are also some noteworthy additions to the EOS Staking Rewards Program. Staking’s lock-up time has been extended from four to 21 days. In addition to their block reward revenue, EOS Block Producers (BPs) will start collecting network generated fees, which will further incentivize infrastructure providers as network demand rises.
The goal of the revised EOS staking program is to encourage ecosystem development while offering participants long-term rewards. Visit stake.eosnetwork.com to take part in the 250M Staking program.
