Former FTX Executives to be Sentenced in Criminal Case Against Global Crypto Exchange
Former FTX Director of Engineering Nishad Singh and former Chief Technology Officer Gary Wang, who both pleaded guilty to criminal charges related to the collapse of the global crypto exchange, are set to be sentenced this fall. They both testified against FTX co-founder and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, revealing that they were aware of wrongdoing at the exchange before it filed for bankruptcy. Another former FTX executive, Ryan Salame, was recently sentenced to 7.5 years in prison for campaign finance charges. Singh will be sentenced on Oct. 30, while Wang's sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
