Sony officially announced its July additions through a PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium game catalog published on its PlayStation website. Billbil-kun had leaked the PlayStation Plus game additions on the Dealabs website a day before. Among the titles scheduled for official rollout included Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII—Reunion, Remnant II, and Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

Sony confirmed the inclusion of PS VR2 and re-released classic games for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers in addition to the PS4 and PS5 titles, which are also available for PS Plus Extra subscribers. Some of the games included Job Simulator (PS VR2), Jeanne d’Arc (PS4, PS5), and Summoner (PS4, PS5).
Sony unveils PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalog
The first title on Sony’s list was Remnant II – Standard Edition for PS5. According to Sony, this title was the sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes. The next game, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy – Reunion, which Sony confirmed was a retelling of a ‘beloved classic’ through an HD remastered version.
According to Sony, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord would be an epic adventure for PS4 and PS5 players who enjoy a combination of action RPG and strategy gameplay. Sony also spiced things up for fans of the Party Pack Franchise by including The Jackbox Party Pack 9, which is playable in Spanish, English, German, Italian, and French.

The rest of the games available for Premium and Extra subscribers, according to Sony, are Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (PS4.PS5), No More Heroes 3 (PS4, PS5), Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition (PS4), Deadcraft (PS4), and Steep (PS4).
Available only to PlayStation Premium subscribers, Sony’s list of PS VR2 and re-released classics included Job Simulator (PS VR2), Summoner (PS4, PS5), Ratchet and Clark Size Matters (PS4, PS5), and Jeanne d’Arc (PS4, PS5).
PlayStation fans welcome the ‘Classics’ with nostalgic anticipation
A PlayStation fan on X said Sony’s July catalog was an ‘unreal selection.’ He expressed his excitement about the inclusion of Jeanne d’Arc in the upcoming mid-month additions. Multiple other PS fans, including Icey7, commented on Sony’s published July catalog, expressing their joy for the re-release of Jeanne d’Arc.
In response to PlayStations post on X, Marc claimed that July had been the best for Sony ‘in quite a while’ and was enthusiastic about finally getting to play Crisis Core: FF Reunion, which he could not afford to buy. He confessed that Sony’s July catalog included all the games he wished to play but didn’t own.

Another fan, FellOmen, who claimed to have played Remnant II on another platform, was still highly amused by Sony’s choice for July additions. The fan said they would ‘probably play Crisis Core and No More Heroes.’
