- The company has previous trademark registrations in Africa and Europe.
- The registrations are part of the company’s broader effort to ensure legal compliance.
Blockchain -powered Pharma and Healthcare platform XRP Healthcare has successfully registered its trademark in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the company said on Friday.
The registration follows XRP Healthcare’s strategic incorporation in Dubai last year “in response to regulatory considerations and commitment to global expansion.” With the latest milestone, the company now holds three trademark registrations globally.
XRP Healthcare Enters UAE
According to a press release on July 12, XRP Healthcare’s trademark registration in the UAE positions the company to create additional revenue through royalties from businesses seeking to license its brand and logo.

The move targets various potential licensees, including hospitals and clinics, pharmaceutical companies, health and wellness centers, medical device manufacturers, and individual medical practitioners.
XRP Healthcare founder Kain Roomes told DailyCoin the registration was a “natural progression” following the company’s incorporation in the crypto-friendly Gulf state in 2023.
“We chose the UAE for our next trademark registration due to recognizing the region’s progressive stance on Blockchain and crypto regulations. XRP Healthcare strategically expands to harness the untapped potential of blockchain technology in healthcare, legislation, investment, and partnerships.” Roomes said. The achievement is part of the company’s broader strategy to ensure legal compliance and establish a strong foundation for business operations worldwide.
Third Trademark Registration
Today’s milestone adds to other trademark registrations previously secured by the company in the United Kingdom (UK) and Uganda. XRP Healthcare registered the UK trademark shortly after its formation in September 2022, marking the beginning of the company’s commitment to protecting its brand.

The Uganda trademark, XRP Healthcare Africa, is a fully autonomous entity with a compliant legal structure that allows it to operate on the African continent.
“The XRP Healthcare trademark in Uganda serves as a necessary prerequisite for us to create our brand of pharmacies, medical centres, and hospitals in our MA venture. This strategic move underscores XRP Healthcare's commitment to not only expand its footprint but also to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services through its proprietary establishments,” Roomes stated. The company said these registrations would allow it to operate “confidently” within diverse and dynamic markets.
