CDK Global was attacked by ransomware in June and paid more than $25 million in BTC ransom

Odaily News Chainalysis investigator ZachXBT said that the ransomware gang BlackSuit received more than $25 million in
Bitcoin ransom in the attack on CDK Global in June. It is understood that the attack affected about 15,000 US car dealers. Although CDK Global has not confirmed the payment of the ransom, its customers have basically restored online services. Chainalysis pointed out that the total amount of crypto-related ransomware payments in 2023 exceeded $1 billion. (BeInCrypto)
