Mt.Gox Trustee: BTC and BCH have been repaid to some creditors through designated exchanges today
Nobuaki Kobayashi, the trustee of Mt.Gox, issued a notice stating that after July 5, 2024, on July 16, 2024, the trustee of Mt.Gox will partially repay Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to some creditors through designated cryptocurrency exchanges and others. As of now, the trustee has already repaid Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to over 13,000 rehabilitation creditors. Immediate repayment to other creditors will be made once the following conditions are met: (i) Confirmation of the validity of registered accounts and other matters; (ii) Intention to subscribe to the agency receipt agreement designated by the cryptocurrency exchange, etc.; (iii) Discussions between the trustee and the designated cryptocurrency exchange regarding repayment; (iv) Confirmation of safe and reliable repayment. We ask that creditors who meet the conditions wait for a period of time.
