Ripple Labs CEO: Unable to predict when judge will rule on SEC case
Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse was asked about the possible settlement negotiations with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) during an interview on Wednesday and stated, "I can't comment specifically on that." It can be said that the judge's ruling has been very clear, and we look forward to resolving it soon, but we cannot predict when the judge will make a ruling.
The SEC website lists a "closed-door meeting" scheduled for July 18th, and an SEC spokesperson declined to comment.
Zaheer Ebtikar, founder of the cryptocurrency fund Split Capital, said that investors and traders are waiting for a conclusion on the status of XRP tokens. Everything about XRP is related to regulation.
