Meta releases Llama 3.1, Mark Zuckerberg calls for open source AI
On July 23, Mark Zuckerberg stated that with the release of Llama 3.1, the company is "taking the next step towards making open source AI the industry standard," which he described as the first "cutting-edge open source AI model."
