12 collectible Axies and 20 land items were distributed to players who attended the daily events from 17th July to 24th July. Now that it has ended, the new mode has entered its maintenance phase and go live in the next stage. According to the team, players can expect an announcement regarding the Avatar Mode in the next week.
A total of 4 meet-ups were held during the Open Beta Test at specific locations in the game, including Winterblue Village, Hazymoon Village, Evergreen Village, and Goldenwind Village with reward raffles taking place on X (formerly twitter).
Which bugs are being fixed in the base game?
From now on, if no events are live or upcoming, the Event Hub button will be hidden. With that, the team is also fixing the incorrect animations in the Auction House. Several incorrect collectible tags are also being fixed on the NFT Axies Management page.
Recently, players also reported a few bugs in Axie Classic Competitive S4. These included bugs related to Mavis ID and some visual UI issues such as inability to scroll down on Mini Tournament rewards, unclickable tabs on shops, and a few others.
For some players, Classic was stuck on one account on the desktop even after logging into a different account on Mavis Hub. According to a recent announcement, the support team has found the issue and solution is being implemented. In the meantime, the affected players can directly launch their game from the Applications List/Launchpad.
When can players access the Homeland Avatar Mode again?
With the Open Beta Test for the Homeland Avatar Mode coming to an end, the Axie team has currently disabled access to it. Until the Avatar Mode goes live again, players will not be able to access it in-game.

Along with that, all the Open Beta Test data has been removed. This means that once the Homeland Avatar Mode goes live again, players will have to set a new name for their avatar. The team has mentioned that players can expect new announcements related to the Avatar Mode in the coming week.
