Odaily News Trump has discussed cryptocurrency policy with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, according to people familiar with the matter. He has also hosted crypto mining executives at his Mar-a-Lago estate and vowed to commute the sentence of Ross Ulbricht, who was sentenced to life in prison for running the darknet marketplace Silk Road, which was designed to ensure anonymity and was only accessible through Tor and used only Bitcoin as a medium of exchange. On top of that, Trumps campaign team said in May that it would begin accepting donations in digital assets. Since then, they have raised $4 million in various digital tokens, according to an unnamed campaign aide.
