BRC-100 announced a fork of BRC-20 to reactivate the inscription track. ORDI, SATS and other assets entered the DeFi era after forking
On August 9th, according to official sources, BRC-100 founder Mikael announced the forking of BRC-20 on X. All pre-fork assets can now be queried on the official BRC-100 index at https://inbrc.org/prefork. Users can obtain all BRC-20 assets in the BRC-100 protocol, and forked assets such as ORDI, SATS, RATS, PIZZA, etc. can enter the secure and decentralized Bitcoin DeFi era through BRC-100's DEX, stablecoins, lending, and other DeFi applications. The forking of BRC-20 by BRC-100 will solve the current limitations of BRC-20: lack of programmability, non-Turing completeness, lack of scalability, and lack of DeFi. The official forking will take place on September 2nd, with the goal of reactivating BRC-20 and promoting the rapid development of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
